PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device capable of estimating information related to a user's neck bending without depending on recognition of a user's line of sight or face and without the user wearing or wearing another device. SOLUTION: This mobile device has an image display unit capable of displaying an image, an acceleration measurement unit for measuring an acceleration received by the mobile device itself, and whether or not the mobile device is in an activated state related to the display of the image. Based on the activation state determining means for determining, the device orientation determining means for determining the orientation of the device with respect to the direction of gravity from the measured acceleration, and the orientation of the device determined when it is determined to be in the activated state. The device has a neck bending information determining means for determining and outputting information related to the neck bending of the user of the above device. It is also preferable to further have a neck bending information presenting means for displaying the information about the determined neck bending information on the image display unit.
