PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food washing device capable of effectively reducing an odor attributable to a chlorine gas generated in washing food.SOLUTION: A food washing device (1) comprises a washing tank (10) disposed in a housing having an openable lid, and a chlorine odor-reducing mechanism (40) for reducing a chlorine odor attributable to a chlorine gas accumulating in a space (94) of the housing due to vaporization from electrolytic water in the washing tank (10) in washing food.
