PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food washing device capable of effectively sterilizing a food or eliminating bacteria from a food without damaging the food.SOLUTION: A food washing device includes: a washing tank (10) having a bottom wall part (31) and a side wall part (32), in which washing water is stored； and a circulation route for returning the washing water taken from a drainage port (13) provided to the bottom wall part of the washing tank to the washing tank through return ports (14a and 14b) provided to the side wall part of the washing tank. The side wall part (32) includes first regions (P2 and P3) close to the drainage port and a second region (P1) away from the drainage port when viewed from above.
