PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing bran fine powder, in which the bran fine powder, which has low sugar content and excellent secondary processability and the secondary-processed product of which is excellent in external appearance, taste and eat feelings, can be produced efficiently.SOLUTION: The method for producing bran fine powder, in one embodiment, comprises: a first step of pulverizing the wheat bran collected from a roughly-crushed product of raw wheat and classifying the pulverized wheat bran into a large particle fraction of 150 μm or larger average particle size and another fraction to obtain the large particle fraction and a second step of pulverizing the large particle fraction and classifying the pulverized fraction into a fine particle fraction of 150-200 μm average particle size and another fraction to obtain the fine particle fraction.
