A device and system for piercing a body part for decoration are disclosed. Various embodiments of the present invention utilize a post carrier 122 that includes a cylindrical recess 150 at a first end to retain the accessory 152 of the post 128 for piercing. The wall of the cylindrical recess of the post carrier also includes at least one wall recess 158A, 158B that engages a point on the accessory 152 of the post. At least one wall recess extending from a side of the at least one wall recess and having a spring finger 160A adapted to exert a cantilever force on the point on the ornament engaging the at least one wall recess to retain the post, , 160B.
