PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seasoning which achieves powdering of molasses, is easy to transport and process and has a variety of applications and its production method.SOLUTION: A production method of a seasoning includes a formulation step of blending molasses and food fiber together in a weight ratio, based on the solid content, of 1:1.5 to 1:2.5 and adding water so that the total solid content of the molasses and food fiber gets 30-40 W% of the whole to prepare a material liquid, a drying step of subjecting the material liquid to a freeze-drying treatment after preliminary freezing to obtain a solid seasoning and a granulation step of subjecting the solid seasoning to a crushing treatment.
