Composition and manufacturing method of functional food containing propolis and herbal extract which has antimicrobial, antioxidant, and immunostimulating activity
PURPOSE: A health food composition having an improved immunity increase function and oxygen-resistance, and a producing method thereof are provided to prevent and treat various kinds of diseases. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a health food composition comprises the following steps: mixing 10 parts of Angelica gigas by weight, 10 parts of Cnidium officinale by weight, 10 parts of Paeonia lactiflora by weight, 10 parts of Rehmannia glutinosa, 10 parts of ginseng by weight, 10 parts of white atractylis by weight, 10 parts of Poria cocos by weight, 10 parts of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 10 parts of Astragalus membranaceus by weight, and 10 parts of Cinnamomum loureirii by weight； extracting the mixture using 1-30 times the amount of solvent at 0-120 deg. C for 1-15 hours； and mixing 80-99.5 parts of obtained extract by weight, and 0.5-20 parts of propolis by weight. The solvent is water, low class alcohol containing 1-4 carbons, or their mixture.
