PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking method capable of making a watching person enjoy cooking of a food material by an unexpected use of a cooking utensil, as well as heating the food material sufficiently.SOLUTION: A cooking method according to the present invention uses a kettle 1. The kettle 1 comprises: a kettle body 2 into which a heating object is entered through an opening 2a in an upper side and a pourer extending from a side face of the kettle body 2 and allowing the liquid or steam retained within the kettle body 2 to exit.
