PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide green-tea extract powder having tea components which is thoroughly extracted without spoiling aroma of the tea, and having excellent preservative quality.SOLUTION: Water having 2-15 times the tea leave weight is added to dried tea leaves. An extracted liquid and the residues are separated from each other. A multi-time roasting method for repeating a process of extraction and solid-liquid separation predetermined times is adopted to obtain extract liquids having different component distributions and aroma characteristics.
