It is an object of the present invention to provide a cacao product having a high aroma and high palatability. A cocoa beverage containing isovaleraldehyde and 2-pentanol acetate as fragrance components, wherein the peak area of the fragrance component in the cocoa beverage is measured by gas chromatography mass spectrometry.
