PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dedicated fibrous root-cutting device in which onion fibrous roots are cut by means of a rotating polishing disk, thereby the device having a simple structure and mechanism is provided at low production cost, and the cutting work of the fibrous roots can be performed safely, easily and efficiently.SOLUTION: A polishing surface (3a) of a rotating polishing disk (3) detachably mounted on a rotating shaft (4a) of a drive motor (4) is disposed upward, and the rotating polishing disk (3) is covered with a top plate (12) being a protective plate. At least one window hole (14) is formed on the top plate (12), thereby the polishing surface (3a) of the rotating polishing disk is exposed.
