PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onions processing machine that prevents abrasion from sticking on the outer surface of the onions body during onions transfer, even if the onions have soft skin of a body section.SOLUTION: An onions processing machine can automatically cut off leaves and roots of harvested onions with leaves/roots. The onions processing machine has a pair of right and left transfer rolls 22 and 22 capable of drawing leaves of the onions with leaves/roots into downward between both rolls and capable of sending the onions with leaves/roots backward in a posture of the leaves suspending downward. Each transfer roll is provided with a transfer spiral ridge 22b spirally wound around an outer peripheral surface of each rotating drum 22a, and a spiral brush unit 22c formed by spirally transplanting bristles of brush materials of a small friction coefficient in the front side neighborhood position of the transfer spiral ridge 22b on the outer peripheral surface of each rotating drum 22a. Thereby, damages due to friction on the outer surface of the onions body in the transfer of the onions with leaves/roots can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】本体部分の表皮が非常に柔らかい玉ねぎ類であっても、玉ねぎ類移送時に玉ねぎ類本体の外表面に擦過傷が付かないようにすること。【解決手段】収穫した葉・根付き玉ねぎ類の葉と根を自動で切除し得る玉ねぎ類処理機において、葉・根付き玉ねぎ類の葉を両ロール間の下方に引き込み得るむとともに葉が下向きに垂下する姿勢で葉・根付き玉ねぎ類を後送させ得る左右一対の移送ロール22,22を有し、該各移送ロールは、その各回転胴22aの外周面に螺旋状に巻付けた移送用螺旋凸条22bと、各回転胴22aの外周面における移送用螺旋凸条22bの前方側近傍位置において摩擦係数の小さいブラシ材を螺旋状に植毛してなる螺旋ブラシ部22cとを設けていることにより、葉・根付き玉ねぎ類の移送時における玉ねぎ類本体の外表面への擦れによる損傷を防止し得るようにしている。【選択図】 図6
