PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field ditching machine which allows a machine body to travel on a field surface by means of rotation of a spiral propeller shaft, also allows the machine body to travel reciprocally on the field surface by means of regular and reverse rotation, can form a drain ditch in plural inter-row or inter-seedling spaces on the field surface with a ditching body by causing the machine body to travel by operation of a rotation drive mechanism, and can reduce labor of a worker.SOLUTION: The field ditching machine includes: a travel mechanism 4 arranged on a machine body 1 and including a drive source 3 and a ditching body 2 capable of forming a drain ditch W on a field surface M. The field ditching machine includes as the travel mechanism: a spiral propeller shaft 5 arranged rotatable on the machine body and including a spiral mud raking blade 5a on an outer peripheral portion, a rotation axis L of the spiral propeller shaft being arranged in a travel direction D of the machine body a rotation drive mechanism 7 driving the spiral propeller shaft so as to rotate and operation means 8 capable of operating the rotation drive mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】螺旋推進軸の回転により機体を圃場面で進行させることができ、螺旋推進軸の正逆回転により機体を圃場面で往復進行させることもでき、回転駆動機構の操作により機体を進行して溝切体で圃場面の複数個の条間又は株間に排水溝を溝切りすることができ、作業者の労苦を軽減することができ、溝切作業性を向上することができる。【解決手段】機体1に駆動源3を含む進行機構4を設けると共に圃場面Mに排水溝Wを溝切可能な溝切体2を設けてなり、進行機構として、機体に外周部位に螺旋状の泥掻羽根5aを有する螺旋推進軸5を回転自在に配設し、螺旋推進軸の回転軸線Lは機体の進行方向Dに設けられ、螺旋推進軸を回転駆動する回転駆動機構7が設けられ、回転駆動機構を操作可能な操作手段8を設けてなる。【選択図】図1
