PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide emulsion compositions for cosmetics containing a fatty acid-derived lactone compound that allows a fatty acid-derived lactone compound to be homogeneously contained, in a cosmetic, particularly in also an aqueous cosmetic, as the fatty acid-derived lactone compound has been difficult to be homogeneously contained in an aqueous cosmetic because it is a solid oil at normal temperature, the emulsion compositions preventing the precipitation and separation of the fatty acid-derived lactone compound over time and having good transparent properties and excellent temporal stability, to provide production methods thereof, and to provide cosmetics containing the emulsion composition for cosmetics.SOLUTION: An emulsion composition for cosmetics containing a fatty acid-derived lactone compound contains a lactone compound, hydrocarbon oil, fatty-acid sorbitan and polyoxyethylene alkyl ether that are nonionic surfactants, lauryl hydroxy sulfobetaine that is an amphoteric ionic surfactant and water, as an essential ingredient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】常温においては固体の油剤であったため、水系化粧料への均一な配合が困難であった脂肪酸由来のラクトン化合物を、化粧料、特に水性の化粧料にも均一に含有させることができ、脂肪酸由来のラクトン化合物が経時的に析出・分離することなく、透明性が良好で、経時的安定性にも優れる脂肪酸由来のラクトン化合物含有化粧料用エマルジョン組成物、その製造方法及び当該化粧料用エマルジョン組成物を配合した化粧料を提供する。【解決手段】脂肪酸由来のラクトン化合物含有化粧料用エマルジョン組成物は、ラクトン化合物、炭化水素油、非イオン性界面活性剤である脂肪酸ソルビタン及びポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル、両イオン性界面活性剤であるラウリルヒドロキシスルホベタイン及び水を必須成分として含有する。【選択図】図1
