PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article and a surface liner, capable of inhibiting diffusion of the excretion between the skin surface of a user and the absorbent article, and securely capturing the excretion.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is attached to the region including the crotch of the user. The absorbent article 1 comprises an absorber 14 for absorbing the excretion a back sheet disposed on the outer surface side of the absorber 14 and a surface sheet 11 (a top sheet) disposed on the skin surface side of the absorber 14. At least a part of the area of the surface sheet 11, facing the absorber 14, has the liquid permeability, and a plurality of slits 26 and 27 which can be three-dimensionally opened are formed in at least a part of the area of the surface sheet 11, exposed to the skin surface side. As the surface sheet 11 is extended in the front/rear direction Y and the slits 26 and 27 are opened, a plurality of opening parts 12 and three-dimensional uneven structures 13 are formed.
