PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread-out type disposable diaper capable of sufficiently absorbing excretory substances and hardly causing lateral leakage.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 according to the present invention includes a pair of three-dimensional gathers 5 formed on both sides 10s along the X direction of an absorber body 10 including a surface sheet 2, a backside sheet 3, and an absorber 4 interposed between both sheets 2 and 3. The diaper 1 includes a first graphic 8 including characters 81 formed on a skin-facing surface side, and a second graphic 9 including characters 91 formed on a surface not facing the skin.
