PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solubilizer which is obtained by using polyglycerol fatty acid ester and can be utilized for foods, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, and minutely disperses oil soluble matter into an aqueous phase without using a special emulsifier or the like, and can provide a solubilized composition having high transparency, and to provide foods, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics obtained by using the solubilizer.SOLUTION: The solubilizer is provided which is composed of polyglycerol fatty acid ester comprising: a fatty acid obtained by mixing (A) at least one or more kinds of fatty acids with a carbon number selected from 6-11 and (B) at least one or more kinds of fatty acids with a carbon number selected from 12-22 at a mole fraction of the range of (A)/(B)=0.1/0.9-0.9/0.1 and polyglycerin having an average polymerization degrees of 5-20.
