PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solubilizer that uses polyglyceryl fatty acid ester, and can be used for food products, medicinal drugs, and cosmetics, which is capable of finely dispersing oil-soluble substance in aqueous phase and giving high-transparency solubilizing composition without using a special emulsifier or the like even in the case where a large amount of oil-soluble substance is blended, and to provide a food product, a medicinal drug or a cosmetic using the solubilizer.SOLUTION: There is provided solubilizer containing polyglycerol medium chain fatty acid ester (A) selected from fatty acid with a carbon number of 6 to 11 and polyglycerol long chain fatty acid ester (B) selected from fatty acid with a carbon number of 12 to 22 as essential components, in which mass ratio between (A) and (B) is (A)/(B)=5/95 to 95/5.
