In the reel leg (71) fixing apparatus (10) according to the present invention, the movable hood (15) and the operation nut (18) are coupled together when a locking portion (15f) bent and provided at an end of the movable hood (15) is engaged with a recess (18g) at an end of the operation nut (18). The movable hood (15) is formed of a prepreg sheet (40) as a fiber-reinforced resin member including reinforcement fibers (42) impregnated with a synthetic resin, and the reinforcement fibers (42) oriented at least in the axial direction extend continuously at least in a coupling (20) between the movable hood (15) and the operation nut (18).
