PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creatine composition for oral ingestion, and a creatine-containing food based on the creatine composition for oral ingestion.SOLUTION: The creatine composition for oral ingestion includes a creatine composition in a product state which is orally ingested together with a beverage. The creatine composition includes crystalline powder selected from the group consisting of creatine monohydrate, creatine anhydride, creatine phosphate, creatine pyruvate, and creatine citrate. The crystalline powder in a product state is further washed with water heated at 80 to 100°C for 1 second or more, so that cyanide impurities are removed. After the washing, the creatine composition for oral ingestion is obtained through vacuum drying.【課題】経口摂取用クレアチン組成物及び前記経口摂取用クレアチン組成物を基にした、クレアチン含有食品を提供する。【解決手段】製品状態のクレアチン組成物を飲料と共に経口摂取するための経口摂取用クレアチン組成物であって、前記クレアチン組成物が、クレアチン一水和物、クレアチン無水物、クレアチンリン酸塩、クレアチンピルビン酸塩、クレアチンクエン酸塩の群から選択される結晶体粉末であり、製品状態の前記結晶体粉末を８０～１００℃に加温した水で１秒以上かけて更に洗浄することにより、シアン化合物系の不純物が除去され、且つ前記洗浄の後、減圧乾燥することにより、前記経口摂取用クレアチン組成物が得られる。【選択図】図２
