The present invention relates to a novel vegetable rice cake containing processed vegetables with improved storability and a method for making the same. After carrots and green onions with improved storability were prepared, quality characteristics of the carrots and green onions were evaluated, and the vegetable rice cake containing the carrots and green onions of the present invention was made. As a result, the novel processed vegetables were contained in the rice cake, thereby providing vegetable rice cake with improved storability.
