The present utility model relates to fried splitted slipmouth treated with calamansi and garlic and the process of producing thereof that could address the vitamins and minerals deficiencies particularly people considered as undernourished or malnourished. The process of producing fried splitted slipmouth treated with calamansi and garlic comprises the steps of: a. collecting a predetermined number of slipmouth fishes in a containing means; b. splitting the fishes to remove their gills and internal organs; c. cleaning and washing the fishes; d. soaking the fishes in calamansi juice; e. draining the calamansi-treated fishes; f. soaking the drained fishes in garlic concentrate; g. drying the garlic-treated fishes; and h. frying the dried fishes. The product produced by the foregoing process is a fried food item.
