The present invention aims to improve the production of biogas obtained from a process of cactus bio-digestion, wherein a part of the effluent of the anaerobic bio-digester is recirculated and ground together with the nopal for feeding a fermentation tank. The process achieves the biodegradation of the pectin, which results in an increase in the quality of the biogas obtained, with a methane content of more than 70%.La presente invención tiene como propósito mejorar la producción de biogás obtenido a partir de un proceso de biodigestión de nopal, en donde parte del efluente del biodigestor anaeróbico es recirculado y se molido junto con el nopal que alimentará a un tanque de fermentación. El proceso consigue la biodegradación de la pectina, lo que tiene como consecuencia el incremento en la calidad de biogás combustible obtenido, con un contenido de metano superior al 70%.
