PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article wherein the friction resistance of a non-skin-facing surface is reduced.SOLUTION: A urine pad 1 has: a virtual longitudinal center line 2-2 bisecting a dimension in a lateral direction X a virtual lateral center line 3-3 bisecting a dimension in a longitudinal direction Y an intermediate region 14 in the center of regions obtained by almost equally dividing the dimension in the longitudinal direction Y into three a front region 15 and a rear region 16. The urine pad 1 includes: a front surface sheet 20 positioned on a skin-facing surface a rear surface sheet 30 positioned on the non-skin-facing surface and an absorber 40 positioned between the sheets 20, 30. The non-skin-facing surface of the urine pad 1 is formed with a low friction region 70 having lower friction resistance than the rear surface 30 that is the other region. The low friction region 70 is disposed between the virtual lateral center line 3-3 and the rear edge 12, and more preferably, in the rear region 16.
