The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a black tea product, the process comprising the step of heating a black leaf tea starting material having a moisture content of less than 10 wt.% at a temperature of 170°C to 250°C for a duration of less than 60 seconds. The present invention also relates to a black leaf tea product obtainable by this process.La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un produit de thé noir, le procédé comprenant l'étape consistant à chauffer une matière première de thé noir en feuilles présentant une teneur en humidité inférieure à 10 % en poids à une température de 170 °C à 250 °C pendant une durée inférieure à 60 secondes. La présente invention concerne également un produit de thé noir en feuilles pouvant être obtenu au moyen de ce procédé.
