PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat which has devised hood portion structures, dissolves the stagger of the hood portions and the like, and can achieve the simplification of a structure for moving the hood portions.SOLUTION: Provided is the cylindrical reel seat characterized by disposing a hood portion 8 for holding the leg portion 5A of a spinning reel 5 on a cylindrical seat body 10 mounted at a prescribed place of a butt rod 3.
