To provide a reel seat that facilitates full palming while holding a bait reel.SOLUTION: A reel seat 10 comprises: a cylindrical body 21； and a palming support 22. A fishing rod body 11 is inserted into a cylindrical body 21 and a bait reel is fixed to a seat surface 29 of the cylindrical body 21. A reel holding part 24A is provided in a center of the cylindrical body 21, with the palming support 22 integral with the reel holding part 24A. An outer peripheral face 37 corresponding to a lower surface of the palming support 22 covers a lower surface of the reel holding part 24. A pair of outer peripheral surfaces 38 corresponding to side surfaces of the palming support 22 cover side surfaces of the reel holding part 24 and expand in a symmetric manner in a lateral direction. An outer peripheral surface 44 continuous with the outer peripheral surface 37 covers a side part of a portion where a fixing hood 30 is formed.
