An object of the present invention is to provide a reel fixing device which is lightweight and is easy to perform a palming operation. A reel fixing device (4) according to the present invention includes a tubular reel seat body (10) that holds at least a middle finger (f3), a ring finger (f4), and a little finger (f5) from below, and the reel seat body (10) has a lower surface. From which the ring finger f4 is directed to the front surface 17a, a first surface 15 which is a part of the lower surface and which is located in front of the trigger 17 and to which the middle finger f3 is directed, and a part of the lower surface. And a second surface 18 located on the rear side of the trigger 17 and to which the little finger f5 is directed, and the amount of protrusion of the trigger 17 from the first surface 15 is within the width of the ring finger f4. The front surface 17a of the trigger 17 is inclined so as to be positioned rearward as it faces downward, and the second surface 18 is positioned below the first surface 15.
