PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat whose structure for pressing a reel leg is changed, and which can avoid the pain of a hand and the like without gripping a screw portion, when the reel seat is gripped, and can prevent the slipping of the hand through the spinning rod, even when a fish bites to strongly pull the line.SOLUTION: A hood portion 8 for holding the leg portion 5A of a spinning reel 5 is disposed on a cylindrical seat body 10. A leg presser 13 for pressing and holding the reel leg 5A and a nut body 15 are engaged with the hood portion 8, and the nut body 15 can be rotated in the circumferential direction of the butt section 3, and can not be moved in the axial direction of the butt section 3.
