PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe material capable of solving eat damages by Pieris rapae crucivora, turtle bugs and cockroaches simultaneously, and realizing the cultivation without using an agrochemical. SOLUTION: By spraying the mixed material of rice bran and charcoal powder, it is possible to block the eat damages by the Pieris rapae crucivora, turtle bugs and cockroaches almost completely. As the blending ratio of the rice bran to the charcoal powder,≤95% rice bran and≥5% charcoal powder are most appropriate. From fix-planting to just before harvest, EM-activating liquid and the mixed material of the rice bran and charcoal powder are sprayed by a rate of once in a week. Not as a simultaneous spraying, but it is preferable that the EM-activating liquid is sprayed in the first half of a week, and the mixed material of the rice bran and charcoal powder is sprayed in the second half of the week. Since the mixed material of the rice bran and charcoal powder and the EM-activating liquid are totally harmless to humans and animals, it can be used until just before the harvest.
