PROCESS OF PRODUCING AN HERBAL OINTMENT FOR WOUNDS OF FARM ANIMALS FROM KAKAWATE (Gliricidia sepium), TOBACCO (Nicotiana tabacum Linn) NAD KATAKATAKA (Bryophyllum pinnatum(Lam.) Oken)
This utility model relates to a process of producing an herbal ointment for the treatment of wounds of farm animals composed of Kakawate (Giiricidia sepium), Tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum Linn.) and Katakataka (Bryophyllum pinnatum (Lam.) 10 15 20 Oken) leaves, vegetable oil and candle wax comprising the steps of: 1.) washing and rinsing Kakawate, Tobacco and Katakataka leaves; 2.) weighing pre-determined amount of Kakawate, Tobacco and Katakataka leaves, vegetable oil and candle wax; 3.) cutting Tobacco and Katakataka leaves into small pieces; 4.) pounding Kakawate leaves and grating candle wax; 5.) heating the vegetable oil; 6.) deep-frying the leaves until crispy in texture; 7.) straining the plant parts and leaving the hot herbal oil in the pan; 8.) adding grated candle wax into the hot herbal oil until wax melts; 9.) letting the herbal mixture to cool and pouring into a container and seal; and 10.) storing the herbal ointment at room temperature.
