The present disclosure relates to an herbal formulation for the treatment of the burns comprising of at least a part of Bryophyllum pinnatum and Holarrhena pubescens. The disclosed herbal formulation can treat the burns wound without any allergic manifestations. In an aspect, the disclosed herbal formulation may include 5% to 20% by weight of Bryophyllum pinnatum, 2% to 10% by weight of Holarrhena pubescens and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable inactive ingredients. The present disclosure further provides a process for preparing an herbal formulation which is useful in the treatment of burn wound.
