PROCESS OF PRODUCING AN ANTI-FUNGAL HERBAL OIL FROM KATAKATAKA (BRYOPHYLLUM PINNATUM (LAM.) OKEN) LEAVES AND MAKABUHAY (TINOSPORA CRISPA (L.) HOOK.F. and THOMSON) STEMS
A process of producing an anti-fungal herbal oil from Katakataka (Bryophyllum pinnatum (Lam.) Oken) leaves, Makabuhay (Tinospora crispa (L.) Hook.f. and Thomson) stems and vegetable oil comprising the steps of: 1.) washing and rinsing Katakataka leaves and Makabuhay stems; 2.) weighing pre-determined amount of Katakataka leaves, Makabuhay stems and vegetable oil; 3.) cutting Katakataka leaves and Makabuhay stems into small pieces; 4.) heating the vegetable oil into near boiling point; 5.) frying sliced/comminuted Katakataka leaves and Makabuhay stems until deep-brown in color or crispy in texture; 6.) leaving the herbal oil to cool or just warm enough not to melt plastic or break glass containers; 15 7.) straining the sliced ingredients before placing the herbal oil in a container and seal; and 8.) storing the herbal oil at room temperature.
