A process of making calamansi- mint ointment comprising the steps of: measuring the pre-determined amount of calamansi leaves, peppermint leaves and candle wax, washing the leaves with running and distilled water, pounding the calamansi and peppermint leaves, setting up a double boiler-- a pot of boiling water with a heat-resistant bowl over the pot, melting the candle wax inside the bowl, adding the pounded calamansi and peppermint leaves, simmering the mixture on a very low heat at pre-determined time, pouring the mixture into the cheesecloth that have fitted around the rim of a container and secure a rubber band squeezing the mixture through the cheesecloth while wearing the rubber gloves transferring the mixture into sterile storage container while still warm allowing the herbal ointment to cool completely before securing a lid, and storing the herbal ointment at pre-determined days in a room temperature.
