PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-acoustic wave detector capable of simply and optionally changing a light radiation position for generating the photo-acoustic wave.SOLUTION: A photo-acoustic imaging device includes a photo-acoustic wave detector 22, a tomogram image generation unit, and an image formation unit. The photo-acoustic wave detector includes: a light radiation unit 21 for radiating light to an analyte and a detection unit 22 having a detection section. The detection section detects the photo-acoustic wave generated in a light absorber inside the analyte, and generates a detection signal on the basis of the detection result of the photo-acoustic wave. The light radiation unit includes an acoustic transmission member 212 which is light transmissive and brought into close contact with the surface of the analyte and transmits the photo-acoustic wave, and a light source arranged on the acoustic transmission member, and is provided separately from the detection unit. The tomogram image generation unit generates the tomogram image of the analyte on the basis of the detection signal. The image formation unit 30 forms a photo-acoustic image by using the tomogram image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】光音響波を発生させるための光の照射位置を簡便且つ任意に変更可能な光音響波検出器を提供する。【解決手段】光音響画像化装置は、光音響波検出器22と、断層像生成部と、画像形成部と、を備える。光音響波検出器は、被検体に光を照射する光照射ユニット21と、検出部を有する検出ユニット22と、を有する。検出部は、被検体内の光吸収体で発生する光音響波を検出し、光音響波の検出結果に基づく検出信号を生成する。また、光照射ユニットは、被検体の表面に密着して光音響波を透過させる透光性の音響透過部材21と、音響透過部材上に設けられる光源部と、を有し、検出ユニットとは別体で設けられる。断層像生成部は、検出信号に基づく被検体の断層像を生成する。画像形成部30は、断層像を用いて光音響画像を形成する。【選択図】図1
