PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating leaf vegetables with high yield, the method being capable of increasing the content of folic acid in plants to be cultivated without requiring pH adjustment and sterilization step.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a method for cultivating leaf vegetables by supplying a nutrient solution. Here, guanosine is added to the nutrient solution. The amount of guanosine added is 0.001 to 3 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the nutrient solution. A planting panel plate 51 with a large number of drilled planting holes 52 is placed on an inclined cultivating bed tank 53. A hydrophilic sheet is disposed on the upper surface side of the bottom surface of the cultivation bed tank.
