A use of CordycepsCicadaemycelia active substance is provided. The CordycepsCicadaemycelia active substance is for manufacturing a composition for reventing, postponing or curing ophthalmic disease such as changes in the anterior/posterior chamber volume, vitreous humour, and/or retinal detachment. The CordycepsCicadaemycelia active substance is prepared by the following steps: (a)culturing a CordycepsCicadaemycelium in a plate media at 15 to 35℃ for 5 to 14 days； (b)inoculating the mycelium of step(a) to a flask and culturing it at 15 to 35℃ with a pH of 2 to 8 for 3 to 7 days； (c)inoculating the mycelium of step(b) to a fermenter tank and culturing it at 15 to 35℃ with a pH of 2 to 8 for 3 to 5 days, so as to obtain a CordycepsCicadaemycelium fermentation liquid containing said CordycepsCicadaemycelium active substance.本發明提供一種蟬花菌絲體活性物質之用途，其可用於製備預防、延緩或治療眼球前後房擴張、玻璃體液擴張及/或視網膜脫離等眼部病變之組合物。所述蟬花菌絲體活性物質係以下列步驟製備而成：(a)取蟬花菌絲體於平板培養基上，於15-35℃之溫度下培養5-14天；(b)將步驟(a)培養後之蟬花菌絲體接種至燒瓶內，於15-35℃、pH 2-8之環境培養3-7天；(c)將步驟(b)培養後之蟬花菌絲體接種於發酵槽內，於15-35℃、pH 2-8之環境下攪拌培養3-5天，形成含有蟬花菌絲體活性物質之蟬花菌絲體發酵液。
