The invention relates to a urethane (meth) acrylate not comprising caprolactone which is the reaction product of A) a monohydric alcohol having 1 to 5 (meth) acrylates, B) an optionally modified allophanate polyisocyanate, C) optionally in the presence of a saturated polyol of functionality 2 to 3, D) optionally, in the presence of an unsaturated polyol of functionality 2 to 4 in hydroxy, said polyol being in C3 to C18, E) optionally, in the presence of a diluent reagent. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of said urethane (meth) acrylate, such as its use in crosslinkable compositions for coatings, in particular for varnishes and inks, adhesives, adhesion primers, coatings for wood, metal, plastic and application to pistol in particular. These coatings have a good compromise between reactivity, flexibility, adhesion and hardness, while having easy application. Ces revêtements ont un bon compromis entre réactivité, flexibilité, adhérence et dureté, tout en ayant une application facile.
