PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery device and method for a floating fish reef which requires a low recovery work cost and can perform recovery work efficiently in a short time.SOLUTION: The recovery device for a floating fish reef includes: a single ship 6 moved in a sea area with a tidal current T toward a floating fish reef 1； a first recovery rope operation tool 10 connected with the ship in an upstream sea area A of the floating fish reef and connected with one end side of a recovery rope 7； a second recovery operation tool 11 arranged in the upstream sea area of the floating fish reef and connected with the other end side of the recovery rope； a traction tool 12 arranged in the upstream sea area of the floating fish reef and restricting a drift of the second recovery rope operation tool； and a ring formed on one end part of the recovery rope and inserted with the other end part of the recovery rope to make the recovery rope into a ring shape. In the upstream sea area of the floating fish reef, the recovery rope is arranged in a direction crossing a mooring rope in the sea. When the recovery rope is arranged around the mooring rope, the other end part is inserted into the ring of the recovery rope to be pulled up by the ship, and the recovery rope is pulled up and the floating fish reef is recovered by the ship in a state of the recovery rope tightened with respect to the mooring rope.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
