PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of suppressing liquid return and excellent in drawing property of the liquid.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises: a liquid permeable surface sheet forming a skin contact surface； and an absorber arranged on a non-skin contact surface side of the surface sheet. The surface sheet is formed of a nonwoven fabric which comprises: a plurality of ridge parts which are arranged in one direction and protrude to the skin contact surface, and have a hollow region on the non-skin contact surface side； bottom parts provided between the adjacent ridge parts； and saddles which are provided on at least one of top parts of the ridge parts and the bottom parts.
