PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of reducing an absorption time and liquid flow distance further.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes a liquid permeable surface sheet having a skin contact surface and an absorber arranged on a non-skin contact surface of the surface sheet. The surface sheet is composed of non-woven fabric which has a plurality of ridge parts arranged protrudingly on the skin contact surface side and bottom parts provided between adjacent ridge parts. The respective plurality of ridge parts are provided with apices and wall parts supporting the apices. The wall parts extend almost vertically to the bottom parts.
