PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article effectively preventing backward flow of menstrual blood and leakage of bodily fluid from the rear, and acquiring excellent leakage preventive properties.
SOLUTION: The sanitary napkin 1A is vertically long, and includes a front surface sheet 2 formed on the skin-abutting surface side, a rear surface sheet 3 formed on the non-skin-abutting surface side, and an absorber 4 interposed between the sheets 2 and 3. The front surface sheet 2 has a plurality of fluid flow preventive walls 8 extending in the lateral direction in a rear area (b) in the rear of an excretion area (a) abutting to a bodily fluid excretion part of a wearer. The fluid flow preventive walls 8 are intermittently arranged side by side in the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 1A. The fluid flow preventive wall 8 in the rear area b includes a rear side center preventive wall 81B and a pair of rear side outer preventive walls 82B and 82B formed outward from the rear side center preventive wall 81B in the lateral direction. The front surface sheet 2 in the rear area (b) is composed of the rear side center preventive wall 81B, the rear side outer preventive walls 82B and a groove 9 dividing the walls.
