PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article with the improved leakage preventive property, especially with the improved sideways leakage preventive property in the groin.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article has an absorber interposed between a liquid-permeable front surface sheet and a rear surface sheet constituting a non-skin-contact surface. The absorbent article also has a fastening part 4 in the non-skin-contact surface to fasten the absorbent article to the clothing, and a cutoff line 5 in the longitudinal direction in the absorber interposed part. The absorbent article further comprises a paper diaper body with the absorber interposed between the liquid-permeable front surface sheet and the liquid-impermeable rear surface sheet, and an auxiliary absorbing member layered/disposed on the liquid-permeable front surface sheet of the diaper body. The auxiliary absorbing member has the cutoff line in the longitudinal direction.
