PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which has enhanced return prevention effects and excretion liquid leakage prevention effects and can be easily manufactured.SOLUTION: In a disposable diaper, a top sheet 11 is constituted of a plurality of unit sheets, and the unit sheets are arranged serially in a front-back direction in a position where adjacent end parts are not overlapped with each other. A second sheet is provided between the unit sheet and an absorber. A front side part 11bF in the front-back direction of the unit sheet is not joined to the second sheet, and a back side part 11bB of the unit sheet is joined to the second sheet. Both end parts in a width direction of the front side part of the unit sheet are joined to three-dimensional gatherings provided both side parts on a use surface side of the disposable diaper. In a use state, the three-dimensional gatherings rise, and the front side part of the unit sheet rises.
