PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly attain improvement in fittability of leg openings and prevention of seepage.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes belt-like three-dimensional gathers 60 provided width-directional both sides of an inner wrapper body 200 and extending in the longitudinal direction. Each three-dimensional gather 60 does not include a waterproof resin film and includes, at least from the inside of a fitting part 65 to the inside of a body part 66, an inner nonwoven fabric layer 62a, an outer nonwoven fabric layer 62b, and an impervious layer 64 interposed therebetween and composed of a hotmelt adhesive. Side edges of a back-side impermeable sheet 11 composed of a waterproof resin film are separated from side edges of an absorber 56 toward the width-directional center side.
