PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in preventing bedsore caused by contamination of the back side (especially the sacrum region and the coccyx region) of a patients body with urine.SOLUTION: In the absorbent article, a crotch easy-foldable portion 3y is linearly extended from the boundary with an abdominal side portion F to the rear side of the article respectively on either side of a center part in the lateral direction of a crotch portion M in an absorber 3, and an end edge 4i of the center in the lateral direction of a portion located in the crotch portion M of each three-dimensional gather 4 is located to the center side in the lateral direction from the crotch easy-foldable part 3y. The boundary 4k between a free portion 4f and a base end portion 4x of each three-dimensional gather 4 is separated outward in the lateral direction from the crotch easy-foldable portion 3y, and the front end of the free portion 4f is separated to the center in the lateral direction from the boundary between the free portion 4f and the base end portion.
