PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a pad type disposable diaper to be laid on a surface from being improperly deformed and displaced.SOLUTION: The disposable diaper includes three-dimensional gathers 40 in width-direction both sides. The three-dimensional gathers 40 are formed by longitudinally extending free parts 44 that protrude from the width-direction both sides of the diaper onto the surface and are elastically fitted to the skin.
