PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tea beverage with suppressed flock generation for a long period through using an existing production equipment without the need of a special device to provide an agent for inhibiting flock generation to provide a method for inhibiting flock generation, and to provide a method for producing the tea beverage with suppressed flock generation.SOLUTION: This method for producing the tea beverage comprises adding to tea beverage the agent for inhibiting flock generation which has amino polycarboxylic acid or its salt as the active ingredient.
