PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root crop harvester including a foliage cutting device capable of ensuring foliage cutting by smooth shoulder alignment by preventing foreign matter accumulation in a shoulder alignment part.SOLUTION: A root crop harvester includes: a pull-out conveyance device C pulling out a crop from a field and conveying the crop； and a foliage cutting device D cutting a foliage part of a crop during conveyance by the pull-out conveyance device C at a fixed length. The foliage cutting device D includes: a shoulder alignment part D1 aligning a crop at a fixed height position； and a cutting part D2 cutting a foliage part of a crop at a terminal position of the shoulder alignment part D1. In the shoulder alignment part D1, shoulder alignment frames 43, 43 in a right/left constitution are notched to form right/left soil removing holes 43a, 43a corresponding to right/left, and rotation shafts 45a, 45a of shoulder alignment rotation bodies 45, 45 in a right/left constitution are attached to the right/left soil removing holes 43a, 43a.
