PURPOSE: A crop root washing apparatus capable of minimizing the damage of lateral roots is provided to cleanly wash roots of crops while minimizing the damage on main roots and the lateral roots. CONSTITUTION: A crop root washing apparatus capable of minimizing the damage of lateral roots comprises the following: a roller body including first and second brush rollers(11,12) for spraying washing water to the outside； a brush washer(10) rotating the roller body； a motor(22) including plural rotary bodies(21)； brushes located on the lower side each rotary body； a hemispherical rotating body washer(20) contacting the surface of crops； and first and second rollers(41,42) having a hollow unit with plural spraying holes. The crops are located in between the first and second brush rollers.본 발명은 수확된 작물의 뿌리를 세척하는 장치에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 세척장치는, 다수 개의 모(毛)로 이루어진 브러시가 중공부를 가지는 롤러몸체의 외주면에 다수 개 설치되어 있고, 상기 롤러몸체의 중공부로 공급된 세척수가 외측으로 분사되도록 되어 있는 제1브러시롤러와 제2브러시롤러가 상, 하에 설치되어 있되 작물이 제1브러시롤러와 제2브러시롤러 사이로 유입되도록 간격을 두고 설치되어 있고, 롤러몸체를 회전시켜주는 수단이 구비된 브러시사용세척기； 및하부가 반구형의 곡면을 형성하고 있는 회전몸체를 복수 개 구비하고 있으며, 각각의 회전몸체가 곡면의 정점을 이루는 중심부를 회전중심으로 하여 수평방향으로 회전되도록 하는 모터를 가지고 있으며, 다수 개의 모로 이루어진 브러시가 각각의 회전몸체 하부면에 복수 개 설치되어 있되 하부로 이동하고 있는 작물에 접촉되도록 설치되어 있는 반구형회전몸체사용세척기；를 포함하여 구성된다.본 발명의 세척장치를 사용하면, 잔뿌리가 많은 작물도 깨끗하게 세척할 수 있으며, 세척시 잔뿌리 등의 손상이 최소화된다.
